Education
Really Investing in the Future
|
Timeless Designs Corporation recognizes that children are society’s
greatest resource; so provisions have been made for an elementary
school, an intermediate school, and a high school on the property.
|
Elementary Schools
Fortune Bay elementary schools will provide classrooms for approximately 4,200
elementary students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Every school will
be convenient for residents and students alike, served by the LaserRail
transportation system. TDC plans to take a direct interest in every child's
education, providing funds to schools over and above what state government
allocates, ensuring that Fortune Bay schools have the best facilities,
equipment, supplies, and curricula in California.
Intermediate Schools
Two intermediate schools will house children in grades seventh through
ninth grades. Classrooms will accommodate 1,200 students.
Timeless Designs Corporation will sponsor a special program for students
interested in learning about business and entrepreneurship.
Participants will learn about organization, process development,
leadership, and economics. This will be a preparatory program, readying
students for the Student Apprentice program in high school.
Edward Demming High School
Named for the historical founder of the "Quality Matters" philosophy,
Demming High School provides classroom space for 1,800 students.
This large campus is based on multistory buildings artistically designed
for both utility and aesthetics.
Students of Demming High will be well positioned for continuing higher
education and/or a career in business. Edward Demming High will be
home to the Student Apprentice program, sponsored by Timeless Designs
Corporation, in which students split their time between classroom
study and part time employment. Students will be assigned to management
teams within Timeless Designs Corporation, being involved in planning
and strategy meetings as well as participating in managing various
aspects of the corporation. They will be able to apply their business
education to real-life business situations; reinforcing the principles
they learn in school and propelling them into their chosen careers with
a solid foundation of practical experience.
